a wii-lemna

I have played wii sports resort some and have found it to be a decent and fun game. The motion plus is pretty cool, but I don't really see how it improves my gaming experience. The motionplus has somewhow ruined my wii's capability. The pointer doesn't work or point at the screen like it did before I got the motionplus I haven't been able to get the pointer to work right yet. One of these days I will be motivated enough to dig out my instruction manual for my wii and fix the problem. I have tried a time or two to bring up my wii fit channel so I can check my weight, but because of this limitation, have become more frustrated at what is happening. Oh well, that's enough with this rant. I did pick up the new professor layton game for the DS, solving puzzles is great fun for me. I almost brough scribblenauts today, but passed on it for now.

I watched my first madea themed movie today, I thought it was pretty good and had some good messages there. The madea character is pretty great, the world would be a better place if there were more people like her around. I do have to wonder though. Why is the church in the movie so small? The characters in the movie live in a big city, and plenty of them seem to have good jobs. I had the impression that churches in big cities had to to bigger just because of the number of people available to the area. The congregation in the choir scene was a bit small for a sunday service in the city. The drug addict story seemed a bit tacked on and not central to the story. It was really great that ellen went back to Orlando at the end of the movie.
