One weekend I achieved a feat that only a select few can claim. This past weekend came close, but was not quite it. I am talking about the all ohio weekend. What is the all ohio weekend might be what you are asking right now. Let me lay it out.
saturday- OSU versus the university of cincinnati bearcats college football game
sunday- Bengals versus browns pro football game.
This happened the weekend of september 16, 2006.
What a weekend that was. Friday I taught at school and went home and got some rest. Maybe. I might have went to columbus and got drunk. I don't remember, but I don't think I was gone from home two nights. At any rate, I had a ticket to the UC game and went and had plenty of fun. That game was hilarious becuase vegasbob and drweber hopped a gate and got in for free. After the game, I stayed up drinking until after three and went to sleep on the floor of my house. I woke myself up before 7, put on my shoes and drove home. I got home before 9, went to sleep for another two hours and rode to the bengals game with grandpa after a quick shower. The bengals got a win that weekend and so did the buckeyes. After the bengals game, I went home and went to bed. I woke up early monday morning, got to my classroom just after 6 AM like I usually did and then made all my lesson plans for the week. The next weekend OSU played PSU, but I gave my ticket to my brother, and he went and watched the game in the rain. I still went to cvegas and watched the game with nasamatt and scatterbrain at the old house, and we hung out just like we had for the past year before I moved away.
