Deuteronomy

I finished reading the book of deuteronomy last night. I have been unable to decide what to think of this book. At first it seemed like a recap of the israelites journey, but then I realized that Moses was talking. From then on, I thought it was more about his accomplishments as the leader. I have never quite realized how important Moses was until the near end when the verses were talking about how he was a unique prophet and there will never be another like him. Then I realized that the book was more likely a tribute to Moses and his work for the israelites. That description seemed a little more fitting than a simple recap of the journey. I also couldn't follow the songs in the verses very well. I am also realizing how angry and vengeful God really was in the old testament. I have heard before that God was a near different person in the new testament, but never realized the extent. He could seemingly not wait to get someone for almost anything. It really makes me worry about how I look in His eyes. I should spend more time concentrated on God, I never know when my time will come.

I also need to do something about my antenna outside. Fox doesn't come in right but about half the time. This means that I did miss some of Glee last night but did see some of it.
