I have to wonder what my amount of blog posting says about me. Do I think I am so interesting that I have something new to say everyday? So far, I have been blogging since the end of may, have all of june, july, and august and most of september. In a little bit less than 120 days, I already have more than 120 different posts. I know in real life I am relatively dull. This forum allows to to get thoughts out that I wouldn't usually put out in public. If a person who didn't know me found this blog, they might think I have a bunch going on for me.
At any rate, I have some thoughts on some movies I have seen recently. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind was good. I began to suspect a plot twist when the beach scene happened, and I was correct. I would not like to forget any of the memories that I have. I would also like to think that people I know would not want me erased from their memories.
Lost In Translation was good also. I would love to go to a strange city and have all kinds of idle time to explore a city and learn a new language. When I was in brazil, I learned plenty of portuguese, but found that I assimilated spanish into what I was trying to say, even when the words were completely different. I wonder if this movie counts as foreign since it was in a foreign city.
