I really enjoy reading magazines. Currently, I have a subscription to nintendo power and also discover magazine. I probably read more of nintendo power from cover to cover, but really enjoy some of the articles in discover also. Discover has a wider range of articles, so I don't go back to it as much as I really should. I do occasionaly get some farming magazines in from my parents, but those usually just get a once over before I throw them to the burn pile.
Today I inherited a small stack of Sports Illustrated magazines from my grandparents. Apparently grandma signed up so she could get a free bengals jacket for my grandpa. So now I have something to read over for the rest of the day. Hopefully I can find some good articles, but ususally don't. There is only so much old news I am interested in reading now. If I was stuck in the tractor or on a long trip, I would read them from cover to cover, but an mont that bored now.
I also inherited the 2010 SI swimsuit edition with the stack of magazines. I haven't looked through that particular edition in some time and can't remember the last time I did. This issue wasn't all that great in my opinion. I don't get a thrill out of looking at girls in magazines nowadays. Thats not to say I don't enjoy the double issue, but one look was enough for me.
