Sunday six of us went to the masonic temple down in cincy to watch or attend some type of easter holy hour. Afterwards we all went to the newport and had a nice meal at don pablos. My dad and brother had more than one alcholic drink so it was decided that I should drive home. The first issue came up when the not sober people decided that I was incapable of deciding for myself which direction we needed to go to make it home. Keep in mind, both of them never lived in a big city and had to drive around on highways when they needed to go somewhere outside of their living area. So anyways, after being told and having the route changed about three times, I decided that I was going to purposefully drive in the opposite direction and ask way to many questions. I kept this up for about 10 minutes before they finally got their heads on straight and got me pointed in the right direction. One thing happened that really pissed them off. After I drove by a left turn lane, they decided that I should have been in that lane. In order to get in that lane, I was going to have to hold up all the cars behind me from their business, which I was unwilling to do. Dad and Glenn nearly threw a hobo fit when I drove ahead, made a left at the next business, and then got on the road I needed to be on.
I had to laugh a little bit yesterday also. Two summers ago, I was lectured for 15 minutes by my grandpa about how we should always put the new lawn mower away clean. I spent plenty of time cleaning up the mower when I was done with it, but apparently was the only one. Yesterday grandpa started complaining that the mower was dirty and had been put away dirty all winter long. I had to laugh. The two people who I knew always put the mower away dirty were standing there dumbfounded as to how that happened.
