Yesterday I committed to being health insured for the next six months. I bought a base, hospital, and accident coverage plan that will last for six months for less than 800 dollars. I alos bought a dental and eye plan for 125 that last for 15 months. I'm not sure if I will need all that coverage, but after hearing about my ex girlfriends sister's car wreck and condition, I think having that in my name will be a good thing. What I really need to do though is get out to an optometrist. I have been wearing the same pair of glasses since before I turned 25 and honestly they strain my eyes sometimes. I don't know if I can still wear contacts or not, but will try to get a pair or two to have for the summer when I work outside in the sun much more.
In other news, we have started seeding our tobacco plants for next year now. We can get all of our stuff done in three days and move on to the rest of the greenhouse work. The rest of the greenhouse work has been kind of slow, but we do have plenty of vegetables that are coming up that will need transplanted soon. It would be nice if we would be able to get some sun here the next couple of days, but the cloudy weather may just hang around for a while.
