I recently seen the movie "yes man" and thought it was pretty good. The old lady fellatio scene may have been the funniest part to me. I do have to wonder if I am enough of a yes man. I don't say no to very many things. I take everything that my mom doesn't want in her house anymore. I always answer my phone when I know my dad and grandpa are calling for help. I helped my sister move a bunch of furniture at least three times in the last year. I say yes to calls about subbing before I know who I am going in for. I let my ex-girlfriend come over and watch big brother three times a week. I usually sit in the chair and make her sit by herself, but thats still a yes. I help my brother with his auto body shop when he asks. I help the amigos when they ask a favor. I don't get into many conflicting viewpoint situations. Saying yes usually furthers the conversation and is less debate on my end.
The only thing I say no to is dating my ex-girlfriend. I have been saying no to drinking about 95% of the time now. I am going to have to say no to working in tobacco for about four hours everyday. I need that time to do graduate school work, and blog also. I have said no to some friends and their endless parade of activity of facebook. Some people are hidden from my view.
It would seem that my mom and dad are worried about me getting lost. They bought me some Garmin GPS thing for my birthday, which I doubt I will ever use. I have had the opinion that cities want you to get places, so that you can spend your money at your destination. If you can't get there because there are not enough directional signs and instructions up, the business won't make as much money.
