Pancho Loco

Tonight I did one of my favorite things to do with my crew of mexicans. We went to la Cascada in hillsboro and I treated. I don't mind treating since it gives the amigos a bit of a morale boost. It would have to be pretty tough leaving all your family and friends for several months so you can work hard to make what amounts to not a whole lot of money. Pancho Loco is the owner/manager of the place, and likes seeing us come in. It may be as simple as his restaurant doing business, or he likes seeing some native mexicans come in to his restaurant. He likes what I do for my crew, a good boss treats his workers everyonce in a while. He told us he was born in the states when his parents immigrated. He managed to work his way up and got his restaurant in industrious hillsboro. Pancho Loco also managed to do plenty of weightlifting, he is pretty muscular and into himself. He also gave some advice to me, I need to make more of an effort to open my mouth wider when speaking so my spanish could

In other news, walking around and doing some shopping at walmart is kind of fun. Its funny to see all the bored high schoolers idling around killing time. Its funny to see the kids who have to be seen with their parents look disinterested. It funny to hear redneck/hillbilly vernacular when walking through the aisles. Its funny to see how people let themselves go so bad that a motorized cart thing is their best option. I am not laughing at the elderly, just the obese and or lazy people. I also have to wonder about all the women walking around with kids. Is the father working? Is she raising the kid on her own? How much longer till the kid loses it and causes a scene while shopping? I also wonder about all the young people working at walmart. Is that there career aspiration? Is this a summer job between college? Did they decide working at a walmart wouldn't be especially hard? It's also kind of weird to get into a far corner at walmart and not hear the usual commotion. I did manage to convince myself to buy a couple of things. I bought a skillet so I could move on to the world of pancakes. Cooking eggs has reached a bit of a plateau so I am moving on the the world of pancakes. I bought some bigger tupperware so I can keep my extra hamburger in my refrigerator better than the tiny tupperware I use now. I bought a copy of wii sports resort. I just cannot keep myself from buying videogames that I know I should play, but won't have the time to. I bought a bible with larger print so I don't give myself a headache trying to read a 3 font. I also bought a copy of 23 minutes in hell, which I think will be an interesting read.
