very busy people

The limousines have a pretty cool song out now called "very busy people." The song is about how they are very idle and bore themselves with all the idle activity of youth. I spend too much time with idle activity. I should be able to busy myself with grad school work, but I don't. Now that I have a treadmill I can run when I have nothing needing done. I should be plenty busy here now until november, putting in all the crops and hopefully subbing at least 2/3 days. If I get 120 days as a sub, it counts as a full year in the retirement system.

I sometimes wonder how busy my friends from college are. I try to get out and spend some time with them when invited or in town. It's good to catch up with them and find out what how they are besides what they put on facebook. I am not a very interesting person to be around, so I'm not always on the top of everyones hang out with list. I usually don't have a lot to say, and spending time in dark bars with loud music is not very encouraging for conversation. I have one friend who I have called three or four times this summer to try and get down here to watch a reds game, but he has a pretty full schedule apparently.
