house wish list

I am in the process of buying a house. In this post I thought I would list out what I need to do or want to do to my house to improve it. 

-sand the floors of the two main rooms

-tear down the wood paneling upstairs and replace with drywall

-carpet all of the upstairs

-finish the unfinished room upstairs

-repaint the plastered walls upstairs

-paint the yellow walls a light grey downstairs

-add on a room to the back of the house

-redo the floor of the bathroom and kitchen

-see if the chimney works and if so, install a working fireplace in the basement. If not, put a wood burning furnace outside that can be rigged to heat the house

-work over the kitchen adding more storage 

-coat the porch with some type of weather guard or other finish

-move a treadmill into the bedroom after the upstairs rooms are finished

-move bedroom upstairs

-install more lighting in the basement
