cyclops

My eyesight is horrible. I have been wearing glasses since 2nd or 3rd grade. At one point before 6th grade, I remember having bifocals. By the time I hit junior high I was able to wear contacts, which I did all throughout high school. Most of college I wore my glasses, but would occasionaly wear my contact lenses. I generally wear my glasses post college also, but sometimes put in my contacts if I am going to be working outside all day, or want to wear sunglasses.

My right eye is definitely my more dominate eye. Most of my vision is through my right eye, I scarcely use my left eye.

I also have a bit of a lazy eye in my opinion. Some of my family tells me that my eyes look normal or okay, but I think they are being nice. When I look in the mirror, they don't look lined up like I think they should. When I shift my focus from one eye to the other, I can tell a difference in how they are positioned. I have had some surgeries to try and correct this condition, but my eye maintains or reverts back to some form that looks a bit off to me. I know that I don't have a tumor or anything odd putting any pressure on it, because I have had scans to check that ailment. I try to avoid taking to many pictures so that my eyes aren't photographed or documented that way.

I wish I could wear my contacts more often, but they don't quite fit comfortably the whole time. My optometrist says that he cannot order any flatter lenses, so I just get along without wearing them all the time.
