city life

I am glad I don't live in columbus anymore. If I lived there still I would be either a broke drunk or extremely bored. Anytime I see some activity on my friends facebook pages, they are drinking. While I used to have a good time drinking, that is not the case now. If I was still there I would have a DUI by now and no real career. 

Looking back now, the reason I enjoyed drinking was the social aspects. Now that I don't do much of anything socially, drinking has lost its appeal. Living in the city I would have to stop drinking and then I would have little reason to be social. This would lead to boredom since I would most likely just stay in all the time. 

I am really glad I live here in the county now. I have enough to do almost everyday, and now have a house of my own to work around with. Farming has long hours sometimes, but compared to the possibility of city life, I prefer ruralness.
