The neighborhood

I thought I would talk about some of my neighbors.

The first neighbor I want to talk about I really feel sorry for. Him and his wife used to own a restaurant in town, and sold it so they could retire. She died six months later and he now lives alone. They would have to be a really awful retirement in my opinion. Working your whole life so that you can retire and enjoy things with your wife, only to have her taken away in six months.

My other neighbor just became divorced from her husband. He let her have the house, but moved about 3/4 of a mile down the street. I would be really aggravated if I went through a divorce so the other half could move 3/4 of a mile down the street. If I was her, I would have sold the house and moved away. She has two kids that are in high school so maybe she is waiting on them to move along.

One neighbor and his wife own a ole mill store and seem very friendly. Last year they had a pig roast and had nearly the whole neighborhood over. It was a fun time.

Most of the other neighbors are non descript.

I also figured out how to add my twitter posts to my blog so that is something new.
